Vivek Singh, Head – IP Filing & Prosecution Practice, Sagacious IP, is an experienced IP Lawyer and Patent Agent with technical, legal and business background. He has a diverse work experience in domains like Intellectual Property Policy and Strategy, Technology Commercialization, Legislative Laws, IP Prosecution-Enforcement-Litigation, R&D, Business Development & Marketing.

He has served as a Deputy Director, IPR, FICCI. His core area of expertise and experience at FICCI included engagement with government and industry stakeholders.  In addition to this, he has also assisted MSMEs on IP Protection, and given them awareness on piracy, counterfeiting and IP infringements.

He also gathered rich experience of 8 years by working with Ranbaxy Laboratories as a Manager, Intellectual Property, where he carried out drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications. Providing IP clearance of PIL/Label & Patent certification letters etc. to Regulatory Department were his key tasks there.

Vivek was also associated with 1mg as a Business Head wherein he formulated various business strategies, marketing plans, managed advertising and business development activities. In this job role, he also conceptualized, developed and managed a unique e-commerce portal by the name “AYUSH (Alternate) Medicines”.
